References about Juan Premoli and his teaching style:

Says Juliane Bock:

“Juan was my Spanish Teacher while I was studying in Rosario, Argentina. I didn’t have to fit into a defined class, Juan just adapted to my level of Spanish and provided me with lots of material to study. I really liked that I could always ask him any question, even if it wouldn’t fit into the class of that day he would answer me at length. Juan was not only my Spanish teacher, he was also a friend and he helped me more than once with information about various things and once even with a ride to the bus station in the middle of the night when there were no taxis at all! Thank you for everything! Nos vemos!” April 6, 2010

He is organized, reliable, and very knowledgeable about Spanish language and Latin American culture. For several years, each of my interactions with Juan has been very positive.” March 2, 2010

“I started having conversation classes over the internet with Juan using Skype and Google-talk and I have to say my level of Spanish and confidence in talking increased dramatically. Juan provided me with outstanding structured guidance and support throughout the whole course of our weekly sessions and even sometimes bi-weekly over two years. I can only recommend his services and assure you that his way of teaching will get you forward if your goal is to be fluent in Spanish (verbal and written). My next stop, when time permits, is to try the course in Rosario directly. Feel free to contact me through LinkedIn if you have any questions.” March 1, 2010

Says Julia Tebben:

"Juan almost single-handedly made my study abroad to Valencia, Spain feasible. Over a period of around a year, we talked over the computer a few times a week, for no more than an hour. His lessons, which included both language and cultural insight, were relaxed, engaging, and fun! He is extremely accommodating to your personal schedule, and in all honesty, I don't know how he does it. Juan, thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart"

Says Mike Brown:

"I was a little hesitant at first because of the whole lack of face-to-face time. But after the first free lesson I knew that it wouldn't be a problem. Since then I have been having 2 lessons per week and if I have ever had a problem with 'attending' a lesson I have just sent Juan an email, and it has been totally fine. Spanish lessons with Juan from my living room have been so much better than having to go to a language school after work. Juan is a really nice guy who is very easy to get along with. I can't wait to get back to South America and have a beer with him and those reputable lindas chicas de Rosario!!"

Says Jeremy Jones:

"After living in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 8 months and returning to the U.S., I was very interested in further developing my Spanish language skills. I posted an ad on Craigslist hoping to find someone local, but instead was contacted by Juan about taking online classes with him, and he actually lived in Argentina - perfect for me! I was intimidated at first to take classes online because I wasn't confident about my listening skills, but Juan made every class very easy to understand. There were many things I enjoyed about my classes with Juan. To begin with, he knew that the main place I would be speaking Spanish was Argentina, so he catered the classes to use the words, phrases and pronunciations that are used there. Juan was always very prompt in beginning our classes and administered the class so productively that the time flew by. Juan was very organized and always provided homework to coincide with our lesson and ensured I understood every aspect before moving on to a new topic. I recently took another trip back to Buenos Aires and my friends there were amazed by how much more I understood than when I was there before. If you want to take private Spanish lessons in the convenience of your home, or wherever you happen to be, with an extremely qualified native speaker, Juan is the person to contact!"

Says Susanna Harkonen:

"Studying Spanish with Juan is very rewarding because of his genuinely warm character and ability to taylor classes easily to a variety of subjects. Studying over the internet has proven to be fun, cost and time effective and personal tutoring makes progress fast."

Says Aditi Bhagwat:

"I have been learning Spanish with Juan for the last 6 months now. It all started when I was looking for a convenient and effective Spanish class on the net. That's when I stumbled into Juan. I didn't really have any recommendations at first and hence was hesitant to start with it. However, his trial class put me completely at ease and I was eventually looking forward to the lessons. What better way of learning Spanish than from a native speaker and that too one to one basis? His personalised yet professional approach makes learning fun. He makes sure to keep the learning going with enough homework through the week. On the whole, I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone whether looking for an online option or not."

Says Mike Hardenbrook:

"When I began with Juan I had never used the internet to learn. To my surprise, it far exceeded face-to-face meeting effectiveness. I found the ability to send and receive data files, photos, and video clips in an instant made it a fun and rapid way to learn. Plus, I am able to learn from the comfort of my home at a time that works with my busy schedule. Juan as an instructor has been a godsend for me. I was one of those people who always figured learning another language was a pipe dream. In a matter of months, Juan has developed my basic knowledge into being conversational and on my way to becoming fluent. I work in the Construction trade and his instruction has proved to be invaluable, allowing me to communicate with my Hispanic Co-workers in Spanish. I recently travelled to Guatemala and didn't speak a word of English the entire trip! He is a genuine teacher who is dedicated to teaching his students in a fun and patient manner. Juan can help make your desire to speak another language a reality. Thanks for everything Juan"

Mike Hardenbrook

Says Cleve Lancaster:

"I have been working with Juan Premoli for four months and have really enjoyed the experience. The interaction with a live person over the internet has allowed me to learn faster than with language CD's. In addition, the flexible time schedule is convenient and this education will be very helpful for my career. I look forward to developing my conversational Spanish".

Says Galyna Zuy:

"The classes helped me to do much better in my college Spanish courses and my grades went from 'D' to 'A+'. Now I really like studying Spanish and can't wait to go to Latin America for my next vacation. Many thanks!"

Second gay marriage in Argentina

AFP - Two men married on Wednesday in Buenos Aires in what was Argentina's second gay marriage, a rights group confirmed.

Damian Bernath and Jorge Salazar "married on Wednesday at a Civil Registry office, and decided to do it completely privately," said Maria Rachid, who leads the Argentine Federation of Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals and Transgendered.

In December, two Argentine men, Alex Freyre and Jose Maria Bello, became the first homosexuals to legally marry in all of heavily Roman Catholic Latin America, after the governor of southernmost Tierra del Fuego province allowed them to wed in the provincial capital, Ushuaia.

Until now, no Latin American country has formally recognized gay marriages, although Mexico City's legislature has approved them. In Argentina, local authorities have approved the legal proceedings in these two cases ahead of possible legislative action.

Nuevas realidades exigen respuestas diferentes.
